Who We Are
Black Rock Yacht Club is a not for profit club locates in the Bayside area of Melbourne and has been operating and serving the community for over 100 years.
Its aim is to encourage and support the sport of sailing, and in turn provide a world class venue for all members of the community to participate. Black Rock prides itself on being a family club, and partners and children are welcome to enjoy the facilities and participate in Club events.
What We Offer
Black Rock Yacht Club is a sporting centre of excellence and has produced champions at the State, National, World and Olympic level.
It also caters for the beginner and junior fleets with pathways to get the new sailor from first steps to competitively racing at club or national level. What ever your needs, Black Rock can support yours goals and provide plenty of fun to your world via the sport of sailing
Training And Development
Black Rock Yacht Club prides itself on its training program and caters for beginner, intermediate and advanced fleets.
The club has an in house coach and fleet of training boats to cater for all needs. Class specific training is organised regularly to increase the standard of intermediate and advanced sailors.
