OAMPS Victorian Youth & Junior Regatta

Yachting Victoria is calling for expressions of interest for a host club for the 2013 and 2014 OAMPS Victorian Youth & Junior Regatta which is final event of the Victorian Sailing Cup series.

As the premier Junior and Youth regatta in Victoria the OAMPS Victorian Youth & Junior Regatta is unique in its ability to bring together Victoria’s Junior and Youth sailors together at one time which helps support Junior sailors to make the transition to Youth classes and continue their sailing. The regatta also brings together the top Youth sailors in Victoria some of whom will be competing at the ISAF Youth World Championships and/or are members of the VIS Sailing Team. Building the event is very important in terms of numbers and profile, but particularly with regards to development opportunities for junior and youth sailors. Providing clubs with the opportunity to host the event for two consecutive years is see as key to the development of the event.

Completed application form and supporting document to be returned to Yachting Victoria by Monday 25th June.
