Geelong Grammar School accepts first place prize

General Manager of Motorsport and Entertainment at the Australian Grand Prix Corporation, Craig Fletcher, visited Geelong Grammar School this morning to present the sailing team the prize for first place at the 2012 Formula 1™ Qantas Australian Grand Prix Inaugural Schools Sailing Regatta on Albert Park Lake in March.
Geelong Grammar School beat six other schools from around Victoria, including Xavier College and Hailebury Secondary School, to take out line-honours with six wins on the Lake.
Sailing Team Captains Will Ogden and Chelsea Owensby accepted the plaque on behalf of the team at this morning’s assembly.
